It's Small (and Scary) World

Hi there!  Marc here, I worked on It's a Small (and scary) World with Tomer and David as  our submission for the 2021 VR Jam.   The theme of the jam was "Small World" which we ran with in a literal sense.  

The Disneyland "It's a Small World" ride and song was our original source of inspiration specifically the first two lines of the song "It's a world of laughter, a world of fear."  

We did our absolute best in the 72 Hours provided to recreate a 'dark side' of the original ride that debuted at the World's Fair in 1964.  This can be seen the custom 'rubber band gun' that we modeled after a gun available at the fair or even the map layout which is inspired by the original in speed and layout.  

In the next few weeks we'll be adding updates in things we weren't able to include like proper sound editing, lighting, and improving a few quality of life options (some that've tried the gun might call that 'functionality' :)
